The Making of a Visionary

The Making of a Visionary

2006 − 2007: The Roots of Luxury

Sararose spent a year on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida to research trends and study classic designers such as Coco Chanel, Emilio Pucci, Ralph Lauren, and others.

2008: The “Sararose” Collection

Sararose was asked to debut her first couture eveningwear collection at New York Couture Fashion Week.

2009: Glam at the Beach
She debuted "Once & Again," her recycled wear collection, in the Garbage Gone Glam show held in West Palm Beach at the Braman Porsche showroom. This was also the year she earned her degree from the highly regarded Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

2010: Chicago's Best Fashion Designer
Sararose opened her first boutique and was named Chicago's Best Fashion Designer by the Chicago Reader.

2011: Ready to Wear, Easy to Shop
Sararose debuted her first full R-T-W collection and launched her online boutique.

2012: Keeping Her Crown
Once again, Sararose was named Best Fashion Designer by the Chicago Reader. She tirelessly displayed her collection in over 20 shows, including Fashion Focus Chicago and Fashion of the Opera. She also partnered with Deborah Koepper Beauty and became the first and only boutique to carry the celebrity-coveted line of Deborah Koepper Beauty Products.

2013: The Little Black Wardrobe

Sararose introduced her revolutionary line of luxury garments made from ecologically conscious textiles.

2014: The Transition
Sararose continues to style, host and produce fashion shows across the country. In Chicago, she’s rapidly expanding her SARAROSE ON OAK studio – which now offers a full array of beauty and wellness services. The studio is quickly becoming a unique, one stop shop for her clients to pamper and nourish their inner and outer selves. Sararose warmly invites you to visit! Whether you come in for a special occasion or just to escape for a bit, you’ll leave with a rejuvenated heart and refreshed look.

2015: M A N

This has been the year of Sararose on Oak! Following the success of our Stix and Roses women’s collection, Sararose will be unveiling an edited collection of men’s basic shirts under the M A N. Stix and Roses label. Look for this collection just in time for Autumn 2015. Keep checking the Sararose on Oak blog for updates on style tips and the hottest topics circling the Gold Coast.
