Full Swing Festival
The combination of seeing Fall Out Boy and Taylor Swift a week ago and Lollapalooza coming up soon got me thinking—festival fashion is so fun! Loose fabrics, funky patterns, and a free spirit look positively carefree when worn to a summer festival. This got me thinking about one of our vintage Stix and Roses silhouettes. A few years ago, I created a tunic-style short dress perfect for a day laid out on a blanket, drinking Rosé and listening to my favorite music.
Recently, my thought process has turned to extending summer by keeping the silhouettes of the season and reinterpreting them for fall. With that in mind, I’ve decided to take some of our vintage Stix and Roses summer-silhouettes and modernize them with my current fabrics and color tones. Living in a four season climate, it is hard for me to say goodbye to summer fashion, but creatively extending it into fall makes perfect sense to me-- gorgeous navy bamboo fabric, loosely clad over the body and worn with cute tights and a wedge bootie. How chic is that? What about you? What is your favorite summer festival wear? Comment below and share a summer style you would love to see extended into fall!
Until next week, xoxo,
